HBCU Africa Education Coalition Announces 4th Annual Conference:
Theme: Coalition Building in the Age of Internationalization and Globalization
WILLINGBORO, NJ – June 13, 2025 – The HBCU Africa Education Coalition (HAEC), a leading advocate for equitable access to study abroad opportunities for students of African descent, proudly announces its 4th Annual Conference happening June 26-29, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. This year’s theme, “Coalition Building in the Age of Internationalization and Globalization,” will bring together academic, governmental, and industry leaders to forge impactful partnerships and advance the 100,000 Strong Africa Initiative.
In recognition of their pivotal role as a co-founding partner of HAEC, Clark Atlanta University will host this year’s conference on their historic campus. The event is presented in collaboration with Clark Atlanta University’s Office of International Programs, Political Science Department, and School of Education.
HAEC is honored to announce UNCF Institute for Capacity Building as an official sponsor of the 4th Annual HAEC Conference. Sharing a deep commitment to Pan-African coalition building, UNCF will sponsor the HAEC Welcome Dinner and provide conference access for members of its transformation network. In addition, UNCF leadership will actively participate in the conference, including hosting a fireside chat to explore shared goals in global education and collaboration. HAEC proudly supports and encourages participation in UNCF’s upcoming UNITE Summit in July, further strengthening this vital partnership.
