Stephanie E. Johnson, MA, is an Atlanta native with a strong educational foundation in psychology, holding a Bachelor’s degree from Dillard University and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa, where she proudly became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Stephanie’s early career focused on psychiatric clinical research at Emory University’s School of Medicine, where she contributed to groundbreaking studies on early intervention for schizophrenia and first-episode psychosis.
Stephanie brings over a decade of expertise in nonprofit leadership, research coordination, and educational programming. Her professional journey includes extensive clinical research experience at both Emory University and Grady Memorial Hospital, where she successfully managed complex research studies, launched mental health initiatives, and led diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives. As a former Executive Director of a youth-focused mental health nonprofit, Stephanie spearheaded fundraising efforts, increased donor engagement, and established national partnerships to advance mental health awareness in underserved communities.
Stephanie’s dedication to capacity building centers on developing impactful programs, optimizing resource management, and advocating for equitable education opportunities.
