Isis Braimbridge

Program Coordinator Operations

Isis Braimbridge, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, has always been driven by a passion for
storytelling and social justice. Born and raised in the vibrant city, she found her calling in
journalism while attending Georgia State University. Armed with a degree in journalism, Isis
ventured into the world of public relations and marketing, where she honed her skills in
communication and strategy.

Yet, Isis’s dedication to her community shines through beneath her professional pursuits. She
directs her energy into social justice initiatives, focusing on environmental issues and
advocating for equality among black women, championing enhanced opportunities in higher
education for people of color. Whether through raising awareness or actively participating in
grassroots movements, Isis’s commitment to making a difference is truly inspiring.

Isis finds solace and joy in the creative arts outside her professional and activism endeavors.
She indulges in her passion for art in her free time, finding expression through painting and
pottery. These creative outlets serve as a form of relaxation and a means of self-expression and
exploration.

In her downtime, Isis often tends to her beloved plants, nurturing them with the same care and
attention she devotes to her advocacy work. For her, nurturing life—whether through her plants
or activism—is a source of profound joy and fulfillment.
