Lauren Winston, MBA, PMP

Senior Program Manager Operations

Originally from Michigan, Lauren is an accomplished project and program management professional with nearly three decades of professional experience. Her career has spanned project and program management, economic development, organizational strategy, workforce development, marketing and communications, event management, and operations. Throughout her career, Lauren has led complex initiatives, collaborated with diverse stakeholders, and developed creative, practical solutions that move projects from concept to completion.

Lauren currently serves as a Senior Program Manager on the Operations team with the UNCF Institute for Capacity Building (ICB), where she supports initiatives, programs, and major convenings that strengthen HBCUs and advance institutional transformation. In this role, she helps coordinate the people, resources, and operational elements needed to support ICB’s work and mission.

Lauren holds an MBA and a BBA in Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP). Now based in Georgia, she enjoys graphic design, event décor, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family. A creative at heart, Lauren enjoys turning ideas into something tangible, whether through a project, event, or design.
