UNCF’s UNITE Summit Convenes HBCU Leaders

Diverse reports over 1,000 influential figures from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) convened in Atlanta for the United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) 2nd annual UNITE Summit for Black Educators. With 40 HBCU presidents in attendance, the event aims to propel student success through institutional transformation. Highlighted by the launch of the HBCUv digital platform, attendees share best practices and confront challenges like the recent Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action. Dr. Michael Lomax of UNCF stresses the importance of protecting HBCU opportunities, rallying support from legal and civil rights organizations. Dr. Johnnetta B.
