Leveraging Big Data to Achieve Equity is a project that partnered UNCF, Excelencia in Education, and the Coleridge Initiative to engage researchers to discover solutions to challenges often encountered by Black and Brown students in higher education. Over the past year, three cohorts representing eight HBCUs and HSIs received training in data science approaches utilizing the Administrative Data Research Facility (ADRF). We will be celebrating the completion of this project by bringing all three cohorts together for the first time. Additionally, we will discuss the Value Data Collaborative (VDC) potential to help provide and answer related research questions.
